When voip service was invented, there was a brief period of indecision on the part of providers because they could not make out their strategy in the new environment where stiff competition prevailed in the VoIP market. They at last decided to go soft with the consumers. The first step was to offer VoIP at affordable rates. They are also launching research and development programs to come out with many exciting and interesting features for being offered to consumers. They want to beat the competition by having the patronage of more consumers by offering these features. This, they hope, will lead to a greater share in the VoIP market.
