Working as a photographer in today’s economy can be tricky but you can still excel.  With the collapse of the news paper industry and the internet being the main source for news, photographers need to adapt.  Many news and photo stock agencies now rely on photo contest entries for images.  What most people don’t realize is that agreeing to the terms when you submit the photo means you’ve given away all rights without compensation.  The best bet for photographers is too expand your client base and mix in a variety of subjects.  Never give any of your work away!
