cover cherished number plates
February 28, 2009 7:15 pm AutosCover plates are a subsection of cherished number plates which are proving very popular. They are usually 3 letters and 3 numbers and the letters are usually rubbish. The lettes U and X being very common in cover plates. Irish number plates are not normally considered good cover plates for some reason and can be identified by always having an I or Z in them. They are used to conceal the age of the vehicle so are handy if you want to keep your car a bit longer due to the credit crunch without looking like you are on skid row.
