gas rebates are one of the nice little things you can do to save money on your gas bill every month.  However, there are so many gas rebate credit cards out there that it’s hard to know which one is going to provide you with the best deal.  I’ve come to the conclusion that there really is no single best gas card out there.  Instead, I think combining gas cards (provided your credit score is sufficiently high enough to do it) is the best bet.  That way you can take advantage of high rebate, low monthly limit cards like the Discover Open Road Card and still get a reasonable rebate once you’ve used up that monthly rebate by using another card like the Chase Freedom Card.
