It has been a long time since I went on a car journey just for the pleasure and thrill of it. Where I used to live near Manchester there were hundreds of signs pointing out leisure drives of particular significance around the Pennines and such like. No one seems to go for leisure drives anymore, primarily because of the vast rise of the cost of driving and also because people are worried about the environment and only use their cars for practical purposes like commuting and such like. I still love driving my Used BMW just for the sheer pleasure of it.
