When I was kid, I always wanted to start a tv station. We would build the anchorman’s desk from cardboard boxes and draw big pictures of the United States and put them behind it do the weather later in the show. We would borrow my parents 8mm movie camera and set it up on a stand with cur cards and tape ourselves doing the news and doing cut aways and coming back during the horror movies like we would see on late night TV. The camera had no sound so we had to record the sound separately on a cassette recorder and play it back with the film.
