Pest Control to Keep Cats and Dogs Off The Lawn

6:30 am Home

One of the biggest headaches gardeners face is the problem of pests in the garden. I’m thinking more of the four-legged creatures, such as rabbits, moles, cats and dogs. There really doesn’t seem to be any guaranteed form of pest control for these animals. Some advise buying sprays to put on plants and flowers. Others recommend putting pepper down as an effective deterrent. The popup water sprayers which work when motion is detected seem very popular. One thing that many say does work, and is very cheap, is to place clear plastic bottles of water on the lawn. For some reason cats and dogs avoid going anywhere near them, so hopefully they give the garden a miss. Bottom line is it might come down to trial and error to find what if any pest control really does work.
