My best friend and her husband have decided to make the time for each other by going on a monthly date.  They have 4 children and they do not have a lot of alone time.  They look forward to their dates each month and it has really strengthened their marriage.  I feel that couples desperately need the alone time.  It is easy to get caught up in every day life and to begin to take each other for granted.  They found a great sitter for the kids at sittercity and they can go out and enjoy themselves without worry.  I think that they have the right idea.
