We had a blast at happy hour last night. None of the boys showed up until after the ball game, so we got in a lot of girl talk before they arrived.

Cindy and Rod are on the outs again so that was kind of awkward. I feel sorry for her because she’s worked so hard to fit in with us and she’s really a good person. I hate to think of what it’ll be like if one of them starts dating someone else. Somebody will definitely be odd man out and it’s not fair. You can bet that the boys won’t freeze Rod out. They’ve all known each other since high school.

Anyway, life goes on.

When I got home the cats were crazy. I should have probably stopped by on the way from work. Stayed out a little later than I thought I would. Appletinis!
