One mans trash is another mans treasure.

6:10 pm Miscellaneous

I have made a nice career traveling around and shopping at garage sales and swap meets. I find many treasures unrecognized by the seller. Just last month I went to a swap meet held a drive in movie parking lot. There we all kinds of sellers there and an abundance of local shoppers as well. I had just about walked past one booth with mostly junk piled into boxes that the seller was negotiating sales from. I recognized two antique mantel clocks so I offered to buy everything he had left for 100 bucks. He gladly sold me the stuff so he could close up and get out of the heat. The sale I made on the clocks made me a bundle and the rest of the junk my daughter more than made what I spent on it with a yard sale the following saturday.
