Cities take Missouri tourism dollar

I don’t see much going on in the way of southeast Missouri tourism. It seems to me that most of the attractions in the state are in the south central part of the state. Of course both of the major cities have their share of tourism also. Kansas City and St Louis have completely different personalities as far as cities go and so they draw different crowds. St Louis was born and raised a river town and Kansas City, although on a river, is more of a Midwest prairie town. The point remains that these two cities plus Branson have to draw upwards of ninety per cent of the tourism dollar.
