Coach Mendenhall Considers Cancelling Spring Game

4:20 am Sports

Some fans accuse that Bronco is not passionate about the game of football. They claim that the players come into bowl games without their focus and are ill-prepared. It’s always easy to criticize, but unless people want to return to the Gary Crowton era of BYU Football where we rarely had a winning season, they should really shut up.

Coach Mendenhall commented that there’s a chance that the spring game won’t even be held, much to the disdain of fans. Mendenhall calls himself a ‘traditionalist’ and claims that LaVell Edwards Stadium is where the spring game ought to be, but with the new sod just laid, it won’t be possible to play.
