Longer charge retention with StayCharged batteries
December 24, 2009 4:12 pm TechnologyDuracell have always been at the forefront of new developments in the power cell industry, and their new range of StayCharged batteries will further cement their position as one of the world’s leading battery manufacturers.Standard rechargeable batteries will lose their charge after only two or three weeks if they are not in use, which makes storage of them for any length of time impractical. StayCharge batteries, by contrast, will lose only 20% of their charge after a year of storage. The length of time they retain their charge for also means that they can be sold pre-charged, and are ready for use straight out of the box, unlike standard rechargeables which have to be charged first.
