Not only is the internet useful in our daily lives as adults, kids can use the computer and the internet in many very useful ways as well. From homework, to doing research and learning about what things costs, computers are a regular part of our daily lives. It is important, however, to protect children online. They do not always have the sense they need to keep themselves safe while on the internet. Kids are very used to being in chat rooms and must be reminded to never give out personal information because they do not know who they are really talking to. Most kids learn this at school, but it is important to reinforce at home.
