The faster the better – polycom

4:17 am Technology

When you think of video conferencing you probably think of those systems where the other persons face is jerky and the words do not match how the mouth is moving. However, with new technology like video Polycom and live feed on your computer (even supported by Yahoo) and many others, that jerky weird videoing is part of the past.

In the past, a large part of the problem was the speed at which the information traveled from one phone to another, now with digital phones, cable phones and broadband technology, information is sent at such high speeds that a lag is rarely noticeable. It makes me wonder though, they keep announcing faster speeds, what in the world will that look like?
