When I started to build my house I knew I had many choices to make. There were the choices as to structural material. Should I go with wood construction, steel construction, or one of the manufactured building supplies for that purpose. There were obviously pros and cons to either choice but I wanted to pick the one that would do the best job for what I wanted to accomplish. By using structural engineering software I was able to plug in the data and do as side by side comparison of the results. With the analysis complete I was able to proceed with my home.
