With a very limited amount of money to spend during my trip I had to be really careful with how I spent it. In each town that I went to I made sure that I found some taupo budget accommodation and always went for the most cost efficient way of getting to them. It was nice to see that just because the places were at the cheaper end of the scale that they were still nice and clean and the service was still very good as well. I guess that is the good old kiwi hospitality that I had heard so much about. My budgeting worked well though and I managed to have my two weeks there and get to enjoy the things I wanted to do.
